As TWUSA, one of our main pillars is providing service for the student body. We do this in a many number of ways, but our main services that we provide for students are the office space, rentals, the cube, and clubs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Our rentals are free, but require a deposit of $20 or your student card which will be returned to you on return of the items rented.

Each rental is only 24 hours, unless specifically discussed with a TWUSA member and approved by the Director of Operations and Services.

When renting out any item, you must sign an agreement that states that you are liable for the items during your care. Any damage or misplacement of items will result in a fine or charge for replacement.

THE CUBE

The Cube is operated by the Trinity Western Student Association on the TWU campus in the Reimer Student Centre.
Acting as an intermediary, the cube takes in books from students wishing to sell, and sells these books back to students wishing to buy. The allocated money is then transferred back to the student seller after a 10% servicing fee. All profits made from the cube are put in the TWUSA endowment fund for future use.

The search function allows students to scan for available books by title, author, and course code. After finding a particular book, the student must select the book and put it on hold by clicking the hold button. Once the book is on hold, the student must come to The Cube and pay within 24 hours or else the book is released from the hold, and other students may purchase it. Purchases cannot be made at The Cube without holds, so it’s extremely important that the student put the book on hold via the student portal prior to coming to The Cube. Holds may be reapplied if the student is not able to pick the book up within the 24-hour time frame. It is important to note that we only accept cash and there are no returns.
